in particular African Caribbean Women
and Men who are under represented in Education and Health

Theme – The Way Forward
Aim
To enhance existing and gain new skills, knowledge and awareness to
empower and advance career path in Education and the (NHS) National Health
Service.
Duration
The program is delivered twice per year for a total of (25)
participants. Participants are accepted on the programme on the
recommendation of their Director, Manager, Team Leader or other
Senior Officer from the organisation.
Number of Classes
Professionals will deliver six Master Classes over a period of six
months at different venues and regions of the United Kingdom.

Over the six months
participants will discuss and examine issues such as:
Barriers to Promotion and Advancement in their Field of Work Importance of Target Planning, Design and Operation of
Projects and Facilities Steps to Combat Workplace Discrimination Integrated Management
Talking Therapy as a Solution to Medication in Changing Lives Procurement and Tendering Recognising Socio-Economic Factors affecting Health and Education
Services Governance and Institutional Framework Diversity and Equal Opportunities in Meeting the Challenges in the
Provision of Health and Education Services Inclusion or Exclusion Legislation, Policies and Procedures Understanding the cultural of your Board and Staff Team
Cost
For each participant the cost is £500.00, if there are more than
two persons from the same organisation there is a 10% discount.
This programme is a must for those who are looking to gain the
necessary skills to advance career path. Please obtain permission
from your organisation before applying as we would require two
references and one must be from your Team Leader or Supervisor.
Diversity and Capacity Building Master Classes/Training
ACETS is offering Diversity and Capacity
Building Master Classes/Training to statutory bodies for its staff
who are failing to meet the appropriate criteria for promotion.
These Master Classes are flexible and tailor made to specific needs,
as identified by organisations.
The team understands that organisation needs
flexible training in order to solve a variety of problems, meet
targets, find solutions to specific services users, clients, staff,
and stakeholders needs.
The team has excellent knowledge of local,
regional, national and international governance, coupled with
experience in working through partnerships and networks to achieve a
range of objectives, to facilitate change and promote knowledge
transfer.

research, consultancy, education and training, to promote change
and capacity building. The staff pride themselves on offering
training and development programmes in areas of Race, Culture,
Diversity, Capacity Building, Equality and other areas.
With over 25 years experience in delivering a
variety of short courses geared towards the needs of organisations;
private and public sector, we have the necessary skills and
knowledge to help your organisation perform better.
We can provide training on your premises,
other venues or as a residential.
The Diversity and Capacity Building Master Classes are accredited by
City and Guilds and can be used towards access to further education.
